Semi bonded bushes

Stop-choc’s range of vibration isolating semi bonded bushes are designed to eliminate high frequencies and can endure high radial loads during operation.

The rubber in these bushes is bonded to the inner tube and assembled to the outer tube. The rubber is pre-stressed to ensure maximum dynamic strength and a high-duty bearing. As with all rubber bearings they provide vibration and shock isolation and also protect from shock loads. They can also accommodate misalignment. No bearing maintenance or lubrication is required.

Typical applications include car, truck and bus engines, alternators, vehicle suspension, leaf springs and generators. They are also found on railway carriages, tractors and other agricultural machinery.
