Hutchinson Stop-choc Ltd is a leading industrial, aerospace and defence manufacturing company supplying high technology anti-vibration & shock isolation mountings, illuminated aircraft cockpit instrument panels & display systems, and light weight avionics racking, to a wide range of customers and markets across the globe.
Position:
We are currently looking for an Internal Sales Support Engineer to strengthen our internal sales team and provide support for the external salespeople and our customers. The role is based at our brand-new facility in Reading, Berkshire.
Role:
Responsibilities will include calculation of costs and preparation of quotations, technical evaluation of customer requirements, product selection and preparation of technical proposals. Following training and development the successful candidate will be working with in-house analysis software and technical data to support product selection. The role is interesting and varied and will ideally suite someone who would like to develop their commercial and technical experience in a wide variety of market sectors.
Ideal Requirements:
- Qualified mechanical engineer.
- Some commercial experience.
- Positive and enthusiastic approach to work.
- Experience in technical sales support would be an advantage.
- An understanding of vibration would also be useful although training will be provided.
