Design Office Manager

A Design Office Manager is required to be accountable for the ongoing performance of an established design team of Engineers, CAD Designers and Draughters. Overseeing a variety design projects from sectors such as Oil & Gas, Aerospace and Defence (Air, Land and Maritime). The DO Manager will work closely with Technical Sales Engineers and Engineering Managers to establish design requirements and to ensure on time delivery of 2D and 3D product work packages. Working closely with all departments including Production, Technical Leads through to company directors and oversee all design related processes utilising Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) methodology, supporting the development of new and existing products to ensure customer design requirements are adhered to and design intent has been achieved, ensuring cost effectiveness and design is practical for manufacture (DFMA/DFx).

Sales Support Engineer

We are currently looking for a Sales Support Engineer to strengthen our internal sales team and provide support for the external sales and customers from our new facility in Reading RG6 1AZ. Responsibilities will include calculation costs and preparation of quotations, technical evaluation of customer requirements, product selection and preparation of technical proposals. Following training and development the successful candidate will be working with in-house analysis software and technical data to support product selection and prepare technical reports for submission to customers.

Business Development Engineer

We are currently looking for an experienced technical sales professional to become part of our dedicated sales team with responsibility for sales of our vibration and structures products in our aerospace and defence markets. Applications vary considerably, and often require bespoke designs or standard product adaptations. This requires a good understanding of design and technical demands for a wide range of industries. The position will suit someone with a sound mechanical engineering background and flare for problem solving. The ability to develop good working relationships with technical and commercial people is essential. Whilst the position is based from our office (currently Slough and later this year, Earley near reading) it will involve regular UK and some overseas travel.

Business Development Engineer

These systems are sold widely around the globe for fixed and rotary wing civil & military aircraft and flight simulation applications. Applications vary considerably, and most require bespoke designs demanding an understanding of mechanical engineering, illumination and electrical/electronic design. The position would ideally suit someone with a sound mechanical or electromechanical background and flare for problem solving and developing customer relationships. Whilst the position is based from our office (currently Slough and later this year, Earley near reading) it will involve regular UK and some overseas travel.
