The objective of the Quality Management System at Hutchinson Stop-choc is to provide products and services in a manner which conforms to the contractual requirements of both our Customers and the applicable regulatory authorities.

In addition to being approved to the requirements of AS9100D/ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015, Hutchinson Stop-choc are also approved by many OEMs in both Europe and the United States.

We are approved to EASA Part 145 repair station certification. Approval number UK 145.01363

Stop-choc Ltd is a manufacturer of Anti-Vibration Mounts, Illuminated Control Panels and Avionic Racking, using a number of processes which could have an environmental impact. We are aware of the effect such operations may have on the environment and are committed to minimising any such impact by means of a process of continual improvement. It is part of the Environmental Policy of Stop-choc Ltd to provide a framework for both setting and reviewing environmental objectives and targets.

To this end we will:

  • Comply with all relative legislation, industry regulations and Codes of Practice.
  • Conserve natural resources and set objectives and targets to reduce the consumption of these resources.
  • Show a commitment to prevent the risk of pollution and harmful emissions which our activities/products may impact on the environment.
  • Reduce waste through the promotion of the re-use of recycled materials.
  • Increase staff environmental awareness through training.
  • Communicate the policy to all personnel and members of the public.
  • Include environmental considerations in investment decisions.
  • Work with our suppliers and sub-contractors to reduce the impact their products/shipments may have on the environment.
  • Conserve resources by operating efficiently and seek to reduce energy and water consumption.
  • Minimise potential environmental impacts and pollution by reducing adverse causes such as the storage and disposal of hazardous substances or waste.
  • Minimise any visual, noise and other impacts on our surrounding environment through good housekeeping practices.
  • Regularly review our performance to ensure we are meeting our environmental objectives and targets.
